This cookbook has a variety of recipes for people to try. It has a bunch of fun different combinations to try as well as fun names for each recipe. The book itself is not big so it is portable and easy to travel with. There are some beginner recipes as well as more intermediate and advanced ones so the book can appeal to anyone regardless of how good at cooking you are.

2. Mr. Coffee Maker - $20 (Target)

This small coffee maker can make up to 5 cups of coffee at one time. It is small and portable, perfect for a college dorm! It is also not too expensive which is good for college students on a budget. It can be found in many stores, but the Target one is probably going to be the cheapest option.

3. 34pc Kitchen Starter Set - $48 (Bed Bath and Beyond)

This starter set from Bed Bath and Beyond is a great addition to your college shopping list. It comes with everything you may need to cook or use in the kitchen- pots, pans, etc. The price may seem a little high, but when considering how much each individual piece would cost, it is a really good deal! 

4. Pasta Strainer - $4 (Target)

Pasta is one of the easiest meals to make as a college student because it doesn't take many ingredients or steps to be able to make it. This pasta strainer can be a good addition to your college dorm because it is cheap and reliable! For only $4 at Target you can strain your pasta quickly and easily.

5. 20pc Silverware Set - $10 (Target)

This silverware set is perfect for college students on a budget. It is cheap and comes with 20 pieces, which is more than enough for most college students. It is perfect for when you have friends over or want to have a little get together with some people! Target also has a return policy so if for some reason they come broken, you can easily exchange or return them!

Don’t be one of those freshmen that struggle to carry home gallons of water from their latest Walmart trip. The Brita is an essential for every college student, whether in a dorm or apartment. The brita allows students to have fresh, clean water. The Brita pitcher filters chlorine, lead, mercury and other contaminants out of tap water. All students need to do is fill up the pitcher from their sink, and it will filter the water within seconds. Students don’t need to stress over constantly buying water bottles or getting water on campus, the Brita makes it easy for students to access clean water. 

8. Egg Cooker - $17 (Amazon)

This egg cooker is perfect for college students who don’t have access to a stove. It is able to cook eggs in any way you want. You can make eggs scrambled, hard-boiled, soft-boiled, poached, or into an omelet! It is a great appliance for those with busy schedules, as it can cook eggs in twelve minutes or less. Students can make boiled eggs as a snack, add eggs on top of a bagel or sandwich, or add eggs to any meal for extra protein.
